One of the most important parts of the personnel management system is the planning and organization of their selection. For a long time, many enterprises engaged in the selection of personnel only as needed, using short-term forecasts for this, which often led to the appointment of specialists with inappropriate qualifications or to production downtime due to the lack of necessary personnel. Increased attention to long-term planning and forecasting has provided more favorable conditions for the efficient and smooth operation of enterprises.

Jobs, in terms of productivity and motivation, should enable employees to develop their abilities in an optimal way, increase labor efficiency, meet the requirements of the employee in terms of working conditions and employment. On the other hand, personnel planning should ensure the implementation of the goals of the enterprise in terms of the number of personnel, its number, qualifications, productivity and recruitment costs.
